Cooking at Bonnie’s Place

We welcome Bette Platford, cake decorator extraordinaire, who will be teaching us how to make a beautifully decorated gingerbread house. Bette has won honors for her decorating skills; her Gingerbread House creation “Cottage Lace” won best of show at the Wichita Assistance League Gingerbread Event.
Bette will teach you how to mix, roll and bake the gingerbread, cut the pattern pieces, make the icing, and discuss tools needed and give you tips and techniques as she constructs the house and then decorates it. The beautifully finished gingerbread house will be donated to the Wichita Assistance League. You will, of course, receive the recipes and a patterns so you, too, can duplicate the procedure at home.
